Small teams
We keep teams small so decisions stay close to the product.
Careers
Tedious Lab is looking for builders who enjoy ambiguity, product taste, fast shipping, and the tedious work of making software actually useful.
Why join
Joining Tedious Lab is different from joining a normal startup. You may work on a sports operating system one month, a browser game the next, and an AI modernization workflow after that. The common thread is not the category. It is the craft.
We want people who can move from problem to product quickly: engineers who care about users, designers who think in systems, operators who turn chaos into process, and generalists who like building from zero.
AI age
Tedious Lab is for builders who understand that AI changes the work but does not remove responsibility.
We expect people here to use AI aggressively: for research, prototyping, coding, design exploration, writing, testing, debugging, documentation, and internal tooling. But we also expect taste, verification, and ownership.
AI can help you move faster. It cannot care for you. It cannot decide what matters. It cannot replace the judgment that comes from talking to users, understanding a workflow, noticing what feels wrong, and staying with a product after the exciting part is over.
We are looking for people who can use AI without becoming lazy thinkers.
01
We keep teams small so decisions stay close to the product.
02
People are expected to notice problems, make decisions, and ship without waiting for permission on every detail.
03
Everyone should understand the people using the product.
04
We prefer short cycles: build, launch, measure, revise.
Open roles
We are always interested in exceptional builders. If you have built something weird, useful, or obsessive, send it to us.
Remote / Hybrid
Build and ship across Tedious Lab products. You should be comfortable owning features from idea to production, talking to users, and making product decisions.
Remote / Hybrid
Design interfaces for products in different categories while keeping a high standard for clarity, usability, and feel.
Remote / Hybrid
Help bring products to the right users through content, community, partnerships, user research, and launch experiments.
Remote / Hybrid
Work with the lab to explore, validate, and potentially lead a new product direction.

A portfolio, GitHub, shipped product, design file, writing sample, community, game, tool, or messy prototype tells us more than a polished resume.
